We only did light prep by thinking a bit about what we were interested in pursuing.
We had chats about our initial ideas with other team members if we needed clarity.
We set up access to research support for tracking down initial sources.
The first few days were mostly spent examining resources and exploring the concepts and topics we chose.

We provided more research support so our team could focus on learning and thinking.

Ledys spent time talking with each of the team members about their work and then set up the collaborative partnerships.

The latter half of the week was spent gathering thoughts and collaborating with the creative partners.
Our creative team ended up working past the week for a few days so there was some back and forth but it was light on the TER team.

We said goodbye to the Signal chats and closed the channels!

Work on the zine got started!
We kept regular hours but spent some time away from office spaces and instead took walks listening to podcasts, having in-person conversations, reading in a park or in a library, or pondering in a coffee shop.

We shut down our regular email and apps for communications and switched over to a Signal all-team group (which meant a lot of alerts - oops!) and the app Padlet where we each kept our own and also had some shared ones - message boards, music, and information on the people who joined us for the week. The people joining us also had access to our Padlets and joined in the commenting, lurking fun, and sharing ideas.

We canceled internal calls. For external calls, we were able to reschedule all but one!

We met up with other team members for casual conversation to share a bit about what we were thinking, get advice, and stay connected on how the new experience was going.
